Pulse Pens and Fusions are a Hit!

As I am wrapping things up this school year and gathering up equipment for inventory, the 2 most popular items that we have purchased this year for the AT library are by far the Writer Fusion and the Livescribe Pulse Pens. Both of these items have been very effective for students who struggle with handwriting and organization, especially at the secondary level. The Writer Fusion is a portable word processor with text-to-speech, word prediction, calendar, USB port for transfering files, etc.. and basically has all of the basic tools a student needs to produce written work and manage files. The Pulse Pen is almost too amazing to describe in words...check out this video to see what it can do. It has been a most valuable tool for students who have difficulty with notetaking. I just put in an order for 5 more Pulse Pens for our library!
